There were 31 ex-students at the initial reunion in 2012, a similar number have met each year since. It is intended that this group will meet each year.

2022 REUNION
There will be a final Reunion of Coburg High School students who started in Form 1 in 1950 or joined later. It will be held in a private room of the Manningham Club, 1 Thompsons Road, Bulleen Vic 3105 (Melways ref.32 D 10) beginning at 10.30am on Friday 11 November. 2022,
Seniors’ luncheons will again be available from noon. Currently a 1 course lunch costs $10.00.
There are 45 ex-students on our data base who potentially could attend and a table for 20 persons has been booked.
If you are coming by public transport via the Southern Cross Railway Station it is necessary to catch Smartbus 905 at the corner of Lonsdale and King Streets, Melbourne to bus stop “ Sandra Street Bulleen”(the first stop after leaving the Eastern Freeway at Bulleen) which is outside the Manningham Club.
It would be appreciated if you could advise your intention to attend or not by 21 October, 2022 at the latest, by contacting John Spargo on [email protected] or 9850 3083 or Ian Murray on [email protected] or 9456 9465. If there are more than 20 people attending, it will be necessary to book another private room; so a reply by 21OCT22 is vital.

2021 REUNION
Coburg High School-Class of 1950 Reunion 2021
In view of Government restrictions with Covid-19 it was agreed to postpone our Reunion scheduled for 12NOV21 to 25FEB22.
It will be held in the Bistro of the Manningham Club, 1 Thompsons Road, Bulleen Vic 3105 (Melways ref.32 D 10) beginning at 10.30am on Friday 25 February, 2022. It is likely that all attendees will have proof that they are fully vaccinated and will have to wear masks when not seated.
Seniors’ luncheons will again be available from noon. Currently a 1 course lunch costs $10.00.
If there is insufficient positive response to the Reunion on 25FEB22 then Reunions will terminate. However if there is a sufficient positive response to the Reunion then consideration will be given to a final Reunion on 12NOV22.

A special mention to David Adam who travelled from Toronto, Canada. David became an architect and was skilled in soccer, Australian rules football and competitive cycling. David played football at West Coburg Football Club in Premiership years in 1955 and 1956 with class mates Brian Spencer (dec), Bruce Callenson (dec), Graeme Cocks, Don and John Spargo.
