APRIL 2022 NEWSLETTER

As students return to  Coburg High School for the new term, the Historical Group is hopeful of resuming its activities in our archives room at the school. We welcome our two new members Michael Hetherington and Murray McInnis and also expect an announcement from the school regarding the appointment of a new principal following the news that Stewart Milner will not return to that post. Stewart was a wonderful supporter of the Historical Group and we hope his successor will share his enthusiasm for the preservation of CHS history. We thank Stewart for his support and wish him well for his new appointment.
We are hoping to be in a position to host a reunion in October this year following the cancellation of last year's 105 year celebration due to Covid restrictions. This will require a lot of organisation and we are keen to recruit some new helpers.
If you have some spare time and an affection for your old school please contact us at the Historical Group. We particularly want to recruit ex students from the 1970's 80's and 90's.
