DECEMBER 2019 EMAIL UPDATE

To all past students and teachers, the board of CHS Historical Group wish you a merry Christmas and a happy new year.
In the new year we expect to complete our archiving project and move our memorabilia and archives into a purpose built facility within the new Coburg Secondary College complex. We are confident that our memories of the old school will live on as part of the history of this wonderful new educational facility.
The Education Department has invited us to participate in a pilot archiving program involving 29 schools. The Department has significantly increased it's staff and resources in order to facilitate this program. As we learn more about this, we will keep you updated.
The plans for the development of the old school site are still in the hands of Moreland Council. As soon as approval is given we will let you all know the extent of the recognition  of our school history the site will contain.
